Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII-TN), under Govt. of Tamilnadu, jointly with EDII Ahmedabad has launched the Certificate Program on Entrepreneurship and Innovation [CPEI], last year. Youngsters from different districts of Tamilnadu have joined and are pursuing the above Course. EDII Ahmedabad shares its vast experience in developing entrepreneurs through, curriculum development and training by experts. This year, the Certificate program will begin from June 2025 onwards, and Applications are invited Online.

Tamilnadu Government has fixed an annual fee of Rs.80,000/- for this course. Graduates between the age of 21 to 40 years and those who have completed vocational training in ITI are eligible for enrolment. This is a course on entrepreneurship so it is a rare opportunity for aspirants trying to become an entrepreneur. Up to date curriculum, libraries with modern facilities.
Experienced instructors, Smart Classrooms, field exposure, Air-conditioned Classrooms, incubation facilities are the special features of this programme.
Highlights of the CPEI Program:
➤ Students enrolled with the CPEl will have free access to 9 incubation centres, all over Tamilnadu.
➤ Students will also visit various State government organisations, to equip themselves students with the essential business skills and knowledge needed for Entrepreneurship
➤ Students will be assisted in applying for IVP Voucher A and B Programs for taking them from Product Ideation to Product commercialization.
➤ Students will also be facilitated to apply for TANSeed Fund
➤ Further, Students will be enabled to prepare a Bankable Detailed Project Report (DPR)
➤ Campus Immersion Programme of Students to various institutions, like, EDII-Ahmedabad, Anna University CED, IITM, Crescent Innovation Incubation Council, Forge Incubation Centre, Golden Jubilee Biotech Park for Women Society, also undertaken during the CPEI Program, in order to Update them with the Latest knowledge
➤ Field Visits to various institutions, like, Startup-TN, will be organised during the CPEI Program, in order to equip them with holistic education through real-world experience.
