A review
meeting of the State Planning Commission was held today (24.02.2025) at the
State Planning Commission, Chepauk, Chennai-5, Chaired by Thiru. Udhayanidhi
Stalin, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu / Ex-Officio Vice Chairman
of the State Planning Commission. During the meeting, detailed discussions were
held on the reports submitted by the State Planning Commission to the Hon'ble
Chief Minister. The Executive Vice Chairman presented the findings of various
evaluation studies on the government's key flagship programs. He also explained
about the ongoing evaluations, studies, and special initiatives that are being
undertaken by the Commission to the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister and Ex-Officio
Vice Chairman of the State Planning Commission, The Hon'ble Deputy Chief
Minister and Ex-Officio Vice Chairman sought details regarding the benefits and
impact of the various flagship schemes implemented under the able leadership of
the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in rural as well as urban areas.
In his
remarks, he commended the work of the Commission and stressed that the review
meetings of the State Planning Commission should be conducted at regular
